First issue of the Open Access Journal MISS published

Categories: GESIS-News

“MISS – Measurement Instruments for the Social Sciences” is a tested, high-quality outlet for measuring instruments in empirical social research. MISS offers a platform for the publication and dissemination of measurement instruments on important constructs across disciplinary boundaries (e.g. sociology, psychology, educational sciences, political science, economics) and countries and also enables measurement instruments to be made freely accessible due to open science standards.

Tested measuring instruments are central to profound scientific knowledge as they form the basis for information from empirical surveys. GESIS has identified a fundamental need in the scientific community for the publication and reuse of collected measurement instruments and has created the journal "Measurement Instruments for the Social Sciences". MISS focuses on general society surveys. All submissions are reviewed twice anonymously.

In the first issue you will find articles from the areas "International Adaptation Of Measurement Instruments" and "Content Type: Validation Of Measurement Instruments".
