[Translate to English:]

The GESIS Data Archive for the Social Sciences is dividing and focusing its areas of responsibility in two new departments.

Since its foundation in 1960, the tasks of the data archive have grown steadily. In order to be able to act more strategically, the new departments are dividing their areas of responsibility:

  • Data Services for the Social Sciences (DSS) provides access to FAIR data for science and is expanding its expertise in research data management.
  • Survey Data Curation (SDC) prepares data for comparative analyses over space and time and expands its spectrum to include data enrichment with new data formats.
