Categories: GESIS-News

The new Research Data & Methods (RDM) department starts its work at the Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS) and counts on the expertise of GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences.

The establishment of the new Research Data & Methods (RDM) department is in line with the close cooperation between the Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS) and GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences. As the central institute for digitization research, CAIS is expanding its own research program with an interdisciplinary team of scientists. CAIS is also supported by two GESIS experts: Dr. Johannes Breuer and Dr. Katrin Weller, both of whom have already been involved in the development and expansion of the GESIS area of digital behavioral data, are contributing their collective expertise to the development of the new CAIS department Research Data & Methods (RDM). Johannes Breuer has been ready for the new challenge since July: "I am very much looking forward to building up and expanding the exchange of expertise and the cooperation between GESIS and CAIS, especially also in the area of digital behavioral data."
