In their recently published paper “Embracing Paradox Realities: Racially Minoritised Women and Gender-Based Violence in Higher Education,” based on qualitative study data, how power asymmetries, racism, and sexism distort the visibility of these researchers and systematically limit their career opportunities. University diversity strategies individualize discrimination instead of questioning institutional structures. What is needed is a shift toward diversity in practice through representation, awareness-raising, and genuine participation of marginalized groups.
