In this issue, the interdisciplinary transfer journal works through the extraordinary 2021 federal election. Based on the diverse data of the GLES, all important aspects of the election are retrospectively examined, such as trust in electoral integrity, the election campaign in social media, and the influence of age, place of residence, or substantive issues such as climate change on voting decisions.
