Interviewer Training for Computerbased Face-to-Face Surveys

Interviewers are involved in nearly all aspects of the implementation process in interviewer-administered surveys. Therefore, they have a significant influence on data quality. Involved interviewers should attend standardized and qualified interviewer training before fieldwork to achieve high data quality. This survey guideline provides the general part of such training. The guideline consists of two documents (I) a set of slides which can be used for the training after project-specific adaptations and (II) an explanation about the conceptual background of the training. The training is based on the modular structure of the "General Interviewer Training Curriculum for Computer-Assisted Personal Interviews (GIT-CAPI)".
