In the 2024 European elections, the newly founded party Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) successfully entered the European Parliament. This blog post uses longitudinal data from the GLES Panel to take a closer look at voter migration between the 2021 Bundestag elections and the 2023 European elections. Among other things, it compares the social and cultural views of BSW voters with those of voters of other parties. It becomes clear that BSW voters have differed over a longer period of time.
