Exchange and knowledge transfer

We are tasked with acting as an interface between research and official statistics and making official data available for research. To achieve this, we offer various exchange formats, such as our user conferences and workshops as well as, for example, the hosting of guest researchers in our Safe Room.

Mailing lists
Our mailing lists are used to exchange information and promote discussion with other researchers. Here we provide information about new data, new services and events.

Workshops and User Conferences
In our workshops, we provide specialist knowledge on the use of official statistics data. Our user conferences serve to promote exchange between researchers and data producers and provide a forum for discussing research results. In our event archive you will find the program and abstracts or papers on the events.

Research stays in GML
You can analyze selected data from official statistics in our Safe Room in Mannheim or via remote desktop.
