The latest HSR Special Issue on "Economists, Politics, and Society. New Insights from Mapping Economic Practices Using Field-Analysis." has been published. The global economic crisis of 2008 has sometimes contributed to an increasing interest in economists and economic knowledge and their influence on politics, economy and society. This Special Issue brings together research findings that contribute to an understanding of the relationship between economics, politics and society. The articles approach this relationship from a perspective inspired by Pierre Bourdieu's methodological work. Quantitative and qualitative-interpretative methods are used.
