FAQs for Readers

Where do I find full text HSR articles online?
It is possible to order the digital version of the most recent articles (PDF). Order here. You can also get access through GENIOS. If your institution has subscribed to SocIndex with Full Text, you will have immediate access to the full-text versions of our articles upon publication. Our articles are accessible through JSTOR soon after publication, without moving wall.
After 6 months, HSR articles are in open access. You will find our open access archive here: HSR archive.

How can I access an article from the HSR, a single issue, or an annual subscription?
You can order a print version of a HSR Issue for 15 € or you can subscribe to the HSR on an annual basis for 48 € (private individuals). We charge libraries, institutions and stores the rate of 19 € / 72 €. All rates include 7% VAT as well as charges for shipping and handling. The subscription includes online access to "HSR Digital" - a platform which contains all currrent HSR articles. Check our overview of offers and prices, and proceed to the order form.

How can I pay?
Due to high bank charges we cannot accept any payment by cheque or credit card and therefore kindly ask to transfer the amount to our bank account, as indicated on the invoice. Payment of single issues is due upon receipt of the invoice.

What are your conditions for subscriptions?
The annual subscription will automatically be extended for the coming year should it not be cancelled by October 31st. If you wish to subscribe to the HSR mid-year, we also deliver all released issues of the current year that have been published until that point.

Is it possible to get a discount on an aggregated order?
For aggregated orders of 25 copies or more, such as for teaching purposes or conferences, for example, it is possible to receive a discount. Please contact us for details via email: hsr[at]gesis[dot]org.
