Juno Reichelt (they/them) is a research assistant at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences, where they work in the Data and Research on Society (DRS) department.
- Studied social sciences at the University of Cologne (B.Sc., 2016-2020) and Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (M.A., 2020-2023)
- Since 2023, doctoral studies at the University of Cologne
- 2023-2025, working on the Horizon Europe project PushBackLash on anti-gender & democratic backlash
- Since 2026, working for the Fachinformationsdienst für Geschlechterforschung (specialized information service for gender studies): Responsible for integration research data management information and establishing access to research data infrastructures (NFDI) for the gender studies
Research
My research focuses on anti-feminism and gender attitudes, gender backlash, radical right voting, right-wing populism, political participation, and political efficacy. My dissertation examines the relationship between anti-gender attitudes and radical right support, highlighting the conditions under which these attitudes influence electoral support for radical right parties.Please visit my Website or my ORCiD profile for further information on my research.
