The GESIS library collects reference material relevant to social science and applied computer science. It sees itself as a service institution which, in a rapid and reliable fashion, acquires, indexes, and conveys relevant information, be it in a printed or electronic form, for its users. The GESIS library is represented in the following locations: Cologne and Mannheim. It is a member of the “Arbeitskreis Bibliotheken und Informationseinrichtungen” (a working group of libraries and information institutions) of the Leibniz-Gemeinschaft.
Basically, the library is also open for external use. Lending is only possible for employees of GESIS.
We provide individual consultations in the use of these materials for research and we are pleased to respond to your inquiries by email or telephone.
