The new CEWS topic page builds a bridge between the theoretical foundation and practical implementation of gender monitoring. Besides the definition of basic terms, the page contains handouts and practical examples that help to set up a monitoring system at one's own institution. Furthermore, it provides access to data on gender ratios in science and research and discusses the CEWS ranking of higher education institutions in relation to other global and national rankings with gender equality aspects. With the new topic page, CEWS is offering another service to promote gender equality in higher education.
