On January 1, 2026, Prof. Dr. Wiebke Bleidorn (University of Zurich), Prof. Dr. Emese Domahidi (Ilmenau Technical University), and Prof. Dr. Anna Sophie Kümpel (LMU Munich) joined the GESIS User Advisory Board. | Prof. Dr. Emese Domahidi is a Professor of Communication Science, in particular Computational Communication Science, at Ilmenau Technical University. She researches the effects of digitalization on communication processes and on the methods of communication science. Substantively, she focuses on two main areas: problematic public spheres, especially in the context of anti-democratic actors, and individual media-mediated communication.
