Holger Döring is head of the Data Services for the Social Sciences (DSS) department at GESIS. He started the position at GESIS in August 2021.
He received his PhD in Politics and Management at the University of Konstanz in 2009 and spent a year at the European University Institute in Florence as a Max Weber Post-doctoral Fellow. Between 2010 and 2021 he worked as senior researcher and temporary professor at the University of Bremen where he taught courses in political science and social science methods. During the academic year 2016/17 he was a temporary professor at the University of Konstanz.
