Vita

Nils Jungmann is a research associate at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences. Within the BMBF-funded project „Weiterentwicklung eines Community-Datentreuhandmodells für die Erforschung politischer Online-Kommunikation - Com-DTM“, he is working on a participation model for the systematic and continuous involvement of the research community in the design of the incentive and regulatory structures of a data trustee for research on political online communication. From 2017 to 2023, he worked as a doctoral candidate for the German Longitudinal Election Study (GLES), where he was mainly responsible for data curation and documentation. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mannheim and a Master of Arts in Political Communication from Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf.
