Simon Eckert (M.A.) studied sociology at the University of Wuppertal. Since May 2021, he has been working at GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences as a research assistant in the BMBF-funded subproject "Domain Data Protocols for Empirical Educational Research" (funding code:16QK01) in the Data Acquisitions and Access (DAA) team of the Data Services for the Social Sciences (DSS) department. Prior to that, he was a student assistant supporting the project. In his function as research assistant, he is mainly responsible for project coordination or organization with the partner institutions involved in the project. His main research interests are in higher education research, research data management and the development of domain data protocols.
