Vita

Hi, my name is Jessica Daikeler. I work at GESIS in the Survey Operations and Survey Statistics teams in the Survey Design and Methodology department. In my master thesis I dealt with "Motivated Underreporting and Response Propensities" (Supervisior: Frauke Kreuter, Stephanie Eckman). I wrote my dissertation on "The Application of Evidence-Based Methods in Survey Methodology" with Prof. Michael Bosnjak and Prof. Florian Keusch. At Gesis I am involved in the application of evidence-based methods (in particular experiments, systematic reviews and meta-analyses) and I also manage the Survey Guidelines.

My research is currently focused on data quality in web and mobile surveys, link of nonresponse and measurement errors, data linkage and, of course, methods for the accumulation of evidence.

Research

My research is currently focused on data quality in web and mobile surveys, link of nonresponse and measurement errors, data linkage and, of course, methods for the accumulation of evidence.

Survey Methodology is my passion, so I have a broad interest in other topics as well, such as interviewer training, cross-country response behavior or the influence of study design on interviewer effects.  If you have additional questions, just email or call me.
