Vita

I am a sociologist at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences in Cologne, where I am working on harmonizing child wellbeing measures from longitudinal and cross-sectional surveys as part of the COORDINATE project. Before that, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Sociology at the University of Tübingen. I obtained my doctorate in 2014 from the University of Toronto. My dissertation research examined how patterns of social and economic inequality affect social cohesion.

Research

My current substantive research examines the effect of social inequality on children's wellbeing. I am also interested in methods of data harmonization and quantitative methods generally.
