Conference Topics

The focus of the conference will be on research based on data from the second PIAAC cycle (PIAAC 2023). In particular, we invite contributions with the following focus:

• Comparisons among the 31 participating countries in PIAAC 2023, or subsets of thereof
• Comparisons between different population groups (e.g., by age, educational attainment or migration background)
• Changes in adult cognitive skills compared with the first PIAAC cycle (PIAAC 2012)
• In depth analyses of populations at risk
• Relationship of cognitive skills to topics such as digitalization, well-being, skills mismatch, personality, or economic outcomes
• Recent advancements in PIAAC survey methodology and skill assessment
