German PIAAC National Supplements

In Germany two PIAAC National Supplement Studies were conducted. The first study "PIAAC, Germany – Prime Age (2012)" [ZA5951] investigates the relationship between skills and labor market prospects of low-skilled workers in Germany. In the second study "PIAAC, Germany – Competencies in Later Life (CiLL)" [ZA5969] the focus is on the competencies of 66- to 80-year-old adults (see also below).

This data set contains an additional national oversample of 26- to 55-year-old adults in former East Germany. 560 additional respondents were surveyed using the same procedures, instruments, and assessments that were used for the PIAAC Main Study. Finally the data was appended to the PIAAC main data (only 26- to 55-year-olds).
