LEO studies: Living with Low Literacy

The aim of the LEO study was to measure the degree of low literacy among German-speaking adults. The study provides differentiated information for the lower skill levels of reading and writing - the so-called alpha levels. Detailed information on the study can be found on the LEO study website.

The data from the first Level One study are freely accessible as a Public-Use-File. The data of the LEO 2018 study are available as Public-Use-File and Scientific-Use-File.
