LeibnizOpen (<link http: _blank external-link-new-window external link in new>

) is the central open access gateway of the Leibniz Association. It consists of around 29.813 full text references from 58 Leibniz institutes. Considering the vast growth of data and users, LeibnizOpen requires a modern and viable infrastructure to increase the visibility and accessibility of freely available research results emerged from the Leibniz Association. Therefor the backend technology was migrated to the open-source software DSpace within the project LeibnizOpen 2.
