The project

involves organizing an international conference centered on data from the

Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC). PIAAC

is a population-representative study designed to examine basic adult

competencies in international comparison. The conference aims to disseminate

and discuss newly acquired scientific findings within the academic community. In

particular, research work that uses data from the second cycle of PIAAC, which

will be published at the end of 2024, should be presented and discussed. Additionally,

it seeks to sustain and expand the interest in the data generated by PIAAC. The

conference will be held in Mannheim on September 30th and October 1st 2025.
