About us
The Competence Center Data Quality in the Social Sciences (KODAQS), a partnership between GESIS, the University of Mannheim and the LMU Munich, offers demand-oriented support for the evaluation and analysis of the quality of social science data. It promotes understanding of data quality and offers training courses and tools such as the Data Quality Academy and the Data Quality Toolbox. Through events such as DataFests and the Guest Researcher Program, researchers can deepen and apply their knowledge. KODAQS works closely with national and international experts and data competence centers to continuously work on improving data quality indicators and to position itself as a pioneering project in the field of social science data quality.
The project is headed by Prof. Dr. Beatrice Rammstedt, Prof. Dr. Frauke Kreuter and Prof. Dr. Florian Keusch, with Dr. Jessica Daikeler as project coordinator. KODAQS is funded for three years as a data competence center by the BMBF.
