Standards, Guidelines And Quality Assurance For Measures For Gender Equality In Academia

Welcome To The StaRQ Portal

From 2019 until 2023, CEWS conducted the BMBF-funded project Standards, Guidelines and Quality Assurance for Measures for Gender Equality in Academia (StaRQ). The key findings (in German) were published in March 2023 in the following publication: Bestandsaufnahme und Handlungsempfehlungen zur Qualitätssicherung von Gleichstellungsmaßnahmen in der Wissenschaft: Ergebnisse aus dem Projekt StaRQ (Analysis and Guidelines for Quality Assurance of Gender Equality Measures in Academia: Results from the StaRQ project).

You can also download the recommendations for action as separate PDFs here:

We also compiled an excecutive summary in English (110 kB), which you can download as a PDF.

The StaRQ portal provides recommendations for action, search tools and information on the topic of quality assurance of gender equality measures. CEWS created this portal during the StaRQ project. On here, you can find further information on the project.

Here you will find the results of the project and a link to the toolbox INKA:
