Vita
Marlene Mauk studierte Politikwissenschaft und Publizistik in Mainz und Kristiansand (Norwegen). Ihre Promotion in Politikwissenschaft schloss sie 2017 an der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz ab. Von 2012 bis 2018 arbeitete sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Politikwissenschaft der JGU Mainz. Seit Oktober 2018 ist Marlene Mauk als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin (Postdoc/Senior Researcher) bei GESIS tätig. Im Sommersemester 2021 vertrat sie die Professur für "Empirische Methoden der Sozialforschung" an der Universität Münster.Nach oben

Forschung
Marlene's research interests are located in the field of political culture. In her dissertation, she has compared citizen attitudes towards the political regime between democracies and autocracies and has analyzed both the individual- and the system-level determinants of these attitudes. Other research interests include political value orientations, (sources of) political trust, and issues of cross-country comparability.Nach oben
