Vita

Termeh Shafie is a Senior Researcher for the "Digital Society Observatory" team in the Department Computational Social Science at GESIS in Cologne. Termeh received her PhD in Statistics in 2013 from Stockholm University and before joining GESIS, she worked as a Lecturer in Social Statistics at the University of Manchester. She has also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Social Networks, ETH Zürich and the Department of Computer and Information Science, University of Konstanz.

Termeh's research is mainly focused on method and model development for analysing social networks and interdisciplinary applications thereof. More information and and a full publication list can be found here.
