Bernhard Miller is a Science Manager trained as a Political Scientist at Mannheim and Johns Hopkins Universities. His research interests are comparative (informal) institutions, conflict resolution, coalitions and parties. After his PhD he joined the Wissenschaftsrat (German Council of Science and Humanities) where he worked on the accreditation of private universities, financing of research infrastructures, the research rating and on standardizing a research core dataset. At GESIS he works on the Presidential Staff coordinating i.e the institute's boards.
