Vita

• 1999-2005: Übersetzer-Studium an den Universitäten Mainz-Germersheim und Heidelberg mit Auslandsstudien am Trinity College Dublin (TCD) über den DAAD und am Institut Supérieur d’Interprétation et de Traduction (ISIT) Paris. Abschluss als Diplom-Übersetzerin für Englisch und Französisch, Ergänzungsfach Wirtschaft, im Sommer 2005 an der Universität Heidelberg.
• Seit Januar 2006 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin bei GESIS. Abschluss der Promotion im Mai 2009. 

Zentrale Projekte:

• Januar - Dezember 2009 Mitglied im Central Coordinating Team des European Social Survey (ESS) und im internationalen Konsortium des Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC), jeweils mit Zuständigkeiten für den Bereich Übersetzung von Fragebögen. 
• 2010 - 2016: Mitarbeit in zwei DFG-geförderten Projekten zu interkulturellem Web Probing (z.B. https://www.gesis.org/forschung/drittmittelprojekte/archiv/cicom-2)
• Seit 2018: Mitglied im internationalen Konsortium des Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC), mit Zuständigkeiten für den Bereich Übersetzung von Fragebögen.
• 2019 - 2022: Projektleitung von GESIS-Seite für ein SSHOC-Projekt zur Anwendung von maschineller Übersetzung im Bereich der Fragebogenübersetzung (https://sshopencloud.eu/)
• Seit 2022: Projektleitung für ein DFG-finanziertes Projekt zu Fragebogenübersetzung (Thema: Einfluss von Übersetzer*innenhintergrund und maschineller Übersetzung auf die Datenqualität)
