Vita

Before joining GESIS, I was a Research and Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence. Moreover, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ghent University (FWO Fellow) and participated in the BMBF-funded research project ProConEU, based at the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute of Political Science at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München.

Forschung

My research interest lies in the study of public attitudes towards the EU with a special focus on transnational solidarity. In addition, I am interested in electoral research and political attitudes in democratic regimes. My research has already been published in a number of edited volumes as well as in the Journals Comparative European Politics, European Political Science Review, European Union Politics, German Politics, Government and Opposition, Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of European Integration, Journal of European Public Policy, Political Communication, Political Geography, Political Research Exchange, Representation, Social Indicators Research, West European Politics, and Zeitschrift für Politikwissenschaft.
