Vita

Björn Rohr schloss 2018 sein Bachelor-Studium in den Integrativen Sozialwissenschaften an der Technischen Universität Kaiserslautern ab. Dabei spezialisierte er sich auf die Soziologie. Auch im Master (Abschluss 2021) an der selbigen Universität und im gleichnamigen Studiengang lag sein Fokus auf der Soziologie und den Methoden der quantitativen Sozialforschung.

Seit September 2021 ist er bei GESIS als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter im Team Survey Operations (SDM) tätig. Dort forscht er zur Anwendung von nicht-probabilistischen Befragungen für die Sozialwissenschaften und zu ihrer Datenqualität im Vergleich zu probabilistischen Umfragen. Des weiteren liegt der Fokus seiner Forschung auf dem Vergleich von Umfragedaten und Umfragedesigns, mit dem Hinblick auf Bias in der Schätzung.
