Vita

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department Data Services for the Social Sciences at GESIS. I work on the collection and provision of digital behavioral data. As leader of the work package Archiving and Provision, I focus in particular on the description and provision of "new" data types such as social media data and webtracking data. My research interest substantively revolves around legislative & party politics as well as political representation more generally. This also includes a strong interest in methodological approaches such as quantitative text analysis or survey experiments, as well as the provision and harmonization of large text data sets. In this context, I am co-author of the ParlSpeech dataset - full-text corpora of 6.3 million parliamentary speeches in the key legislative chambers of nine representative democracies

My work was published in e.g., European Journal of Political Research, European Political Science Review, Social Science Computer Review, Electoral Studies, Journal of Common Market Studies, Legislative Studies Quarterly, International Political Science Review
