During the autumn break 2015, the Equal Opportunity Office organized a week of events entitled "GEHT DOCH!? Vereinbarkeit von Studium und Beruf mit dem Privatleben". The programme included a kick-off panel discussion, information events, presentations, workshops, a lecture and a final discussion session. During all the afternoon events, a free children's programme was organised by a staff member from the university's family apartment. The varied week-long programme was aimed at a wide audience, from students and teaching, research and administrative staff to interested members of the local community. Recognised experts contributed their knowledge on a range of topics (studying for parents, legal aspects of parental allowance, parental leave and care responsibilities, childcare services, leadership culture, new role of fathers, self-management, time management, etc.).

In response to the positive feedback, it is hoped that the week will become a fixed part of the university's programme of events.
