Mannheim

Mannheim provides a diverse selection of sights and activities. The baroque-style castle, which is home to both the university and a museum, is definitely worth a visit. If one is more in the mood for a stroll away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the Luisenpark or Neckar and Rhine promenades are the places to go. In Luisenpark, you can visit the butterfly house or drink tea in the traditional Chinese tea house and much more. Mannheim's city center, or Quadrate, offers a variety of shopping and dining options. And if you are in the mood for some bar culture in the evening, you can stop by the Jungbusch district adjacent to the Quadrate. Here, you can find a variety of food and entertainment options.

Moreover, Cologne is known for its carnival culture. The city also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine and culture in various parts of the city. For example, the Roman-Germanic Museum, which exhibits art, jewelry, and everyday objects from the Roman and Merovingian eras, is definitely worth a visit.
