Summer School - Plenary and Social Program

At the GESIS Summer School, we offer you plenty of opportunities to network with other participants and lecturers, fostering both professional and informal interactions. The coffee breaks and lunch breaks in particular provide ample time for this.

In addition, we organize special events throughout the week:

Monday lunchtime offers you the first opportunity to get to know each other during a buffet lunch in our cafeteria. After lunch, we host short presentations on current research carried out at GESIS. 

Every Thursday, we organize an informal get-together for lecturers and participants at a restaurant. This event is a great chance to experience Cologne's unique culture and social life, which is quite different from other cities in Germany.
