Note 1
Data from Great Britain (including a Scottish boost) are not included in the integrated file and were published separately under the study number ZA8783. Essential background variables are missing as a result of a change in data collection mode due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Note 2
Data from Greece are not included in the integrated file and were published separately under the study number ZA8784. Greece is a new ISSP member country and its ISSP 2021 data Greece’s first data submission. Unfortunately, too many elements notably deviated from ISSP rules and standards and that collectively they amounted to a substantial deviation.

Note 3
Data from Spain and Sweden were delivered after the integrated file had already been prepared. These data sets are therefore not included in the integrated file, but can be downloaded as separate data files under the study number ZA8872 (Spain) and ZA8873 (Sweden).
