"Soapbox Science is an annual public science communication event that promotes the role of women* in science by turning public areas into spaces for interactive learning and scientific debate. It aims to increase the visibility of women* in science and give female* scientists the chance to present their work to a broad audience. The events take place in public areas so that everyone has the opportunity to learn and participate. Soapbox Science happens in cities all over the world.
