Inhalt: Objectives: To know the contribution that groups of pregnant women have upon building knowledge about the process of parturition. Methods: A descriptive-exploratory study, with ten women who participated of groups of pregnant women. The semi-structured interviews were recorded and transcribed. The analysis was based upon thematic analysis, after approval by the Research Ethics Committee-CAAE 20722913.7.DO00.5317. Results: From the analysis of the transcripts emerged the themes: Labor and delivery from the perspective of women who participated in the groups of pregnant women; and Childbirth Humanization and Birth: Knowledge vs. Experience. Conclusion: The group of pregnant women allows women to prepare for the delivery process, as an information and exchange experiences with other participants and health professionals provide input for their choices, and thus, knowledge is built on a reciprocal basis, in a trusting and learning environment.

Inhalt: Objective: To identify the prevalence and the profile of pregnant women victims of physical violence. Methods: Quantitative, cross-sectional study, conducted with 105 pregnant women followed in four Family Health Units at the city of Jequié, Bahia. The data were collected through questionnaires from the Abuse Assessment Screen (AAS); Tolerance, Annoyed, Cut down and eye opener (T-ACE) and sociodemographic. Results: The prevalence of pregnant women who suffered physical violence was 2,9%. These were 21-26 years of age, race/ skin color black (black and brown) and suffered aggression on the head predominantly by the partner who used alcohol. Conclusion: The prevalence of pregnant women victims of violence was not high, but it is an issue that causes many negative impacts on the woman's and baby's health. Thus from the profile of the women surveyed, it is recommended that specific actions could be carried out in order to at least minimize the occurrence of this problem.

Inhalt: Objective: To understand the practices and professionals involved in prenatal care in the Family Health Strategy. Methods: An integrative review of the literature with a temporal scope between the years 2001 and 2012, in the SciELO database and CAPES portal of journals, using the following descriptors: Women's Health; Prenatal Care; and Health Personnel. Results: It was observed that some articles emphasize the work of nurses over the multidisciplinary work, revealing the difficulty of a comprehensive team practice. Furthermore, the focus of care is almost exclusively technical, demonstrating that the most relevant aspects to the quality of the actions during prenatal care concern the number of consultations, tests and vaccines. Conclusion: It is essential that health professionals work in a multidisciplinary perspective, in which the care given to pregnant women happens is comprehensive and complementary.

Perceptions of pregnant women about the organization of the service/assistance in prenatal low risk in Recife

Inhalt: Objective: To describe the epidemiological profile and the perception of low risk pregnant women care met in a maternity hospital in Recife. Method: Descriptive study with 94 pregnant women attending prenatal low risk, from April to May 2014. Data were collected from subjects and the Maternity Card, using a questionnaire. Results: 71% were brown/black, 17% low education, 26% single/divorced, 49% unemployed and 48% had family incomes below the minimum wage. 28% multigesta and 17% said at least one abortion. However, of the 69 (73,4%) who had undergone tests, 46% were little satisfied/dissatisfied with the delivery time of the exams. Conclusion: Knowing the profile and the satisfaction of pregnant women brings contributions to nursing, since it is for nurses to make prenatal visits of pregnant women considered low risk, being your responsibility to ensure a qualified prenatal care in an integrated manner.

Inhalt: Objectives: to identify the knowledge of women about the effects of alcohol intake during pregnancy; to propose educative actions involving this topic for guidance on women's health in the pre-conception and gestational period. Method: exploratory study of quantitative character. The scenario was the Estacio de Sa University (campus Niteroi-RJ). The subjects were 99 women. A structured interview was used for data collection and it was conducted after the research was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the University. Results: analysis of the data collected has allowed to identify women's ignorance on the subject and reduced participation of the nursing professional in the orientation of these women. Conclusion: it is necessary to increase the disclosure of these damages to health through educational campaigns promoted by health institutions and greater participation of nursing professionals in the education of this target audience.

Inhalt: Objective: surveying and to characterizing the incidence of HIV vertical transmission, from 2004 to 2013,
among pregnant women accompanied by a referral service in STD, HIV/AIDS and Viral Hepatitis in the
countryside of Minas Gerais. Method: it is a quantitative descriptive study. Data were obtained from the
medical records of women infected by HIV registered in the unit. For analysis, there was used the simple
descriptive statistics. It was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the Higher Education Foundation
of Passos (FESP), with CAAE: 28399314.8.0000.5112. Results: of the 33 pregnancies treated at the service,
60,6% (20) knew the diagnosis before pregnancy and 39,4% (13) of them obtained it during the prenatal
period. In the first group there was no vertical transmission, while in the second group, there was one case,
8%. Conclusion: it is recommended that pregnant women do the test still in the first three months of
pregnancy, because late diagnosis makes difficult doing prophylaxis.

Inhalt: Objective: to investigate the nurses' knowledge of gynecological Pap smears performed in pregnant women attending Primary Health Units (UAPS), Fortaleza-CE. Methods: a descriptive, cross-sectional study conducted in three UAP, with a sample of 27 nurses. Data were obtained through a questionnaire and the analysis used was the Epi-info program. Results: the data showed that the majority of nurses, 17 (62,97%), does not perform the gynecological examination in pregnant women. From nurses who perform, 3 (7,4%) make the collection incorrectly. About participating in trainings on prenatal and gynecological examination, 24 (88,8%) reported previous participation. Conclusion: thus, systematic and effective training aiming to overhaul the welfare practices that are established in the family health programs are necessary.
The obstetrical and newborn profile of postpartum women in maternities in São Paulo

Inhalt: Objective: To describe the sociodemographic and obstetric profile of postpartum women in São Paulo, to check the perinatal data and to identify the type of delivery. Method: A descriptive, cross-sectional study involving 424 postpartum women. Data was collected through structured interviews and medical records. We used descriptive statistics for analysis. Results: There was a predominance of women between 21 and 30 years (60,6%), mulatto (55,2%), high school education (65,8%), without payment (57,3%), with a partner ( 85,4%), primiparous (34,9%) and without previous abortion (78.8%). The vaginal delivery was performed in 58,3% of women. Most newborns were male (52,2%), with appropriate weight and height (89,5% and 80,7%), and na Apgar score between eight and ten in the first minutes of life (> 90,0%). Conclusion: There was a predominance of women with little education and unfavorable financial conditions, factors that hinder access to health services, contributing to increased maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality.

Inhalt: Objective: To understand the meaning of a humanized childbirth in the conception of pregnant women. Method: This was a descriptive study of a qualitative nature with a phenomenological approach. Semistructured interviews were conducted with 15 pregnant women enrolled in an outpatient prenatal care at a university hospital in the city of Montes Claros/MG. Results: The central unveiled theme was: Understanding the humanized childbirth as one in which the professional has as prerogative the empathic relationship and technical expertise enabling the woman to experience labor and delivery as the physiological protagonist during the process. Conclusion: The pregnant women define the humanized childbirth based on the philosophical bases of childbirth humanization and birth advocated by the Ministry of Health, which has the interpersonal relationship and competent assistance as principles.

Inhalt: Objective: analyzing the values expressed in the speech of women/mothers in the accessibility of monitoring examinations of prenatal care. Method: a phenomenological, descriptive, exploratory study with a qualitative approach. There were interviwed fifty women/pregnant of the Prenatal Program of Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The data analyzed allowed formulating themes articulated with the Theory of Values. Results: barriers experienced by women on laboratory/images examinations: delay in results, misinformation and lack of a service of quality, a value considered of vital use for them. We realize the need for change in monitoring prenatal, considering a network of unified and integrated health with quality services at different levels of care, promoting wellness, comfort and safety to pregnant women as a vital value to their health. Conclusion: the health network should be unified for a better quality of services offered to women.
