Ein herzliches Willkommen an Xinyi Zhao, die vom 22. April bis 5. Mai 2024 als Gastforscherin das CEWS bereichern wird. Sie promoviert derzeit bei Emilio Zagheni (Max-Planck-Institut für demografische Forschung, Rostock) und Ridhi Kashyap (Oxford Universität, Department for Sociology). Ihr PhD-Project lautet "Gender inequality in academia: Opportunities or challenges in the era of globalization and digitalization?".
Während ihres Aufenthalts im CEWS wird sie Geschlechterungleichheiten bei der Verbindung von wissenschaftlicher Karriere und Elternschaft in den Blick nehmen und hierfür den BAWIE-Survey auswerten.
