Xinyi Zhao: visiting researcher at CEWS

A warm welcome to Xinyi Zhao, who will be a visiting researcher at CEWS from April 22 to May 5, 2024. She is currently doing her PhD with Emilio Zagheni (Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research, Rostock) and Ridhi Kashyap (Oxford University, Department for Sociology). Her PhD project is "Gender inequality in academia: Opportunities or challenges in the era of globalization and digitalization?".

During her stay at CEWS, she will focus on gender inequalities in the combination of academic career and parenthood by analyzing the BAWIE survey.
