The University of Bayreuth has produced guidelines for dealing with conflict at work ("Richtlinie zur Konfliktbewältigung am Arbeitsplatz"), which are designed to encourage responsible ways of handling conflict with mutual respect for all parties involved. The university is committed to promoting behaviours and measures that contribute to the constructive handling of conflict. The guidelines cover bullying, discrimination and (sexual) harassment, which are individually defined and described. They explain the legal framework, list points of contact, and describe a conflict consultation and a conflict resolution process.
