The toolbox INKA is a database on gender equality practice and contains over 300 quality-tested model examples of gender equality measures from universities and research institutions in Germany. The toolbox gives scientific organizations the opportunity to gain ideas and inspiration for the design of their equal opportunity objectives or policies. The examples provided are selected in a quality-assured process to ensure that they are of high quality and thematically varied.
As part of the StaRQ project, a list of gender equality measures was compiled that are promoted or funded by the German federal government or individual federal states.
In the context of the BMBF-funded project StaRQ (2019-2023), CEWS has integrated the DFG Toolbox into its services. Under the acronym INKA, the database presents examples illustrating the possible range of gender equality measures at universities and research institutions.
