The target groups of CEWS' services have broadened over the course of the center's development since 2000. These target groups benefit in various ways from the synergetic effects of CEWS’ main spheres of activity on gender politics and gender equality measures, gender inequalities in academia, advocacy and networking, services as well as statistics and monitoring.
We offer experts for gender equality, equal opportunities and diversity current, research-based and user-friendly information and databases about statistics on gender inequalities, effective gender equality measures, science-related equality law and literature on gender monitoring and certain research areas.
Social scientists on the pivot of higher education studies, gender and feminist research as well as science studies find information and data about gender inequalities in German academia and research as well as online tools for improving the visibility of women researchers in all disciplines.
We support German universities and research organizations with information about gender sensitive leadership tools and gender equality measures, the CEWS ranking of higher education institutions by gender equality aspects or the TOTAL E-QUALITY advisory service.
We support committees and councils about gender equality in academia and research with evidence-based strategy consultation as well as impulses for public debates.
CEWS supplies creators in media with comprehensive information about gender inequalities in academia and research for up-to-date reports.
