The online discrimination notification form provides people experiencing discrimination and harassment with an easily accessible way of reporting incidents anonymously. Learning about cases of discrimination and harassment at the University further enables the Gender Equality Office to develop or refine preventive measures.

Instances of sexual discrimination and violence, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and any other forms of gender-based discrimination are common at institutions of higher education, too. Anyone who has witnessed this type of discrimination can report it to the Gender Equality Office in confidence using the tool for reporting discrimination. There is the option to report discrimination anonymously on the understanding that this will not count as a formal complaint and in most cases will not result in protective and corrective measures or sanctions against accused people or groups of people. An anonymous report will be acknowledged, however, and will be taken into consideration when planning further preventative measures to be introduced at the university.
