The "Chancengleich!" portal at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) is a central, comprehensive source of information about equal opportunity activities at RUB. It presents different levels and aspects of equal opportunity under a number of headings: Equal Opportunity in Focus, Implementing Equal Opportunity, Women in Science, Service and Equal Opportunity Office.
As well as information about the organisation and structure of equal opportunity activities at the university and key resources such as reports and equal opportunity concepts, there is also practical advice on implementing equal opportunity for students and researchers, at the workplace or with the family and as to what measures are offered in the different areas by the university. There are also 15 personal profiles of women professors. Their different career paths and the professional opportunities in the world of research are intended to both motivate and inspire female students.
