GEECCO - Gender Equality in Engineering through Communication and Commitment

In the European project GEECCO technical universities and research funding organizations seek to effectively reduce gender inequalities. CEWS / GESIS evaluates partners' gender equality plans and develops customized tools for monitoring gender equality activities. The project focuses on three topics: the reduction of gender inequalities in academic careers, gender balances in decision-making committees and the gender dimension in research and teaching.
DFG Toolbox on the DFG's Research-Oriented Standards on Gender Equality

On behalf of the German Research Foundation (DFG), CEWS compiled a toolbox of gender equality measures in support of the DFG's Research-Oriented Standards on Gender Equality. This toolbox provides online access to a selected collection of examples of quality-assured gender equality measures in science. Individual, specific and detailed search options enable users to find the measures which meet the special needs of their institutions.
EvalKIT - Evaluation of the Gender Equality Policy of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology

The objective of the project is to evaluate the gender equality policy of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). The evaluation analyses objectives and strategies of the gender equality policy, structures and the overall concept of gender equality activities. By analyzing the institutional embedding, personnel and financial ressources, actors and communication structures, the evaluation focuses on the structures of gender equality policies.
EvalTUB- Evaluation of the Gender Equality Policy of the Technical University of Braunschweig
Project leader: Dr. Nina Steinweg (2018-2019)
The objective of the project is to evaluate the gender equality policy of the Technical University of Braunschweig. The contract involves the following services: 1. Evaluation concept including a guideline for the self-evaluation; 2. Implementation of the evaluation; 3. Documentation of the results, recommendations for action, briefing of the university management, concluding a workshop.
