GEECCO - Gender Equality in Engineering through Communication and Commitment

In the European project GEECCO technical universities and research funding organizations seek to effectively reduce gender inequalities. CEWS / GESIS evaluates partners gender equality plans and develops customized tools for monitoring gender equality activities.  The project focuses on three topics: the reduction of gender inequalities in academic careers, gender balances in decision-making committees, and the gender dimension in research and teaching.

GenPORT - An Internet Portal for Sharing Knowledge and Inspiring Collaborative Action on Gender and Science
Project leader: Dr Anke Lipinsky (2014-2017)
GenPORT initiates an online community of practice served by an internet portal, for organizations and individuals working in the field of gender equality in science, technology and innovation across the globe. The purpose of the community and the portal is to organize and make available the variety of research resources, practical materials and policy information that exists in this field.

DFG Toolbox - DFG-Toolbox on the DFG’s Research-Oriented Standards on Gender Equality
Project leader: Dr Nina Steinweg (2009-2019)
On behalf of the German Research Foundation (DFG), CEWS compiled a Toolbox of gender equality measures in support of the DFG's Research-Oriented Standards on Gender Equality. This toolbox provides online access to a selected collection of examples of quality-assured gender equality measures in science. Individual, specific and detailed search options enable users to find the measures which meet the special needs of their institutions.
