CSES - Module III

Module III addresses the question to what degree political systems provide contestation between meaningful alternatives and how integrative is the structure of electoral competition. The dataset combines individual data from post election surveys with election outcomes on district level, and national macro indicators on the election, the political system and socio-economic data.

Data are available via GESIS data catalogue. The online study catalogue ZACAT offers a simple and extended search within question texts, and a preview of the data via online analysis. It enables users to identify interesting studies or variables for their own research via scanning through the national and international data inventory.

The Final Release covers 80.163 respondents from 50 election studies.
