The focus of the ESS Conference 2019 lies on “Turbulent Times in Europe: Instability, Insecurity and Inequality”. The conference will take place from 15^th to 17^th of April 2019. It is conducted by GESIS and the University of Mannheim.

The GESIS Panel User Conference is taking place from 11-12 March 2019 at the University of Mannheim. Please submit your abstracts via email to gesis-panel(at)gesis(dot)org by 1 November 2018. Registration for the conference opens 30 November 2018. There are no registration fees.

This special issue aims at bringing together original studies from scholars of a diverse research community to address questions that include, but are not limited to, the secondary analysis of GESIS Panel data.

The submission deadline for manuscripts to be included in the special issue is November 30, 2018.

For the special issue  in Survey Research Methods we invite studies that implement and evaluate innovative quantitative or mixed-methods approach to explain findings of lack of measurement invariance or  discuss factors that have a detrimental impact on the establishment of measurement invariance.
