Paul Balluff ist derzeit am Projekt „ResTeCo“ bei GESIS beteiligt. Zuvor war er als Prae-Doc im H2020-Projekt OPTED an der Universität Wien tätig. Bevor er zu OPTED kam, war er als studentischer wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Vienna Center for Electoral Research (VieCER) tätig und trug zur quantitativen Analyse der Medienberichterstattung während der Nationalwahlen in Österreich 2017 und 2019 bei.Veröffentlichungen
